Halloween Trick or Treat Tote Bags

Another fun project for the fall is creating tote bags! My children wanted new trick or treat bags so here are some of the prints that I have created. These can be used as a book bag or gift bag after the trick or treating is finished. Each tote is lined in a cream colored twill for extra durability. They also have wide handles for easy gripping. You can purchase yours on my Etsy website at http://www.bowsandsnails.etsy.com/ or email me at bowsandsnails@austin.rr.com . I will be trying out different fabrics soon, so if you like the idea and would like a different print just let me know. These would make great gift bags if you are goin green!

Boo boo hot/cold packs

Here is what I recently posted on my Etsy website. Boo Boo packs for little ouchies. My kids love theirs and they use them for about anything (including the invented ouchies). They are small packs filled with rice which you can keep in the freezer or warm up in the microware for a hot compress. I found this is a great way to use of scrap fabric! Each one is about 4" square or larger. I will be happy to create one for you too! Order online at http://www.bowsandsnails.etsy.com/ or just send me an email at bowsandsnails@austin.rr.com .

Ao Dai

This is an Ao Dai (Vietamese Tunic) that I created for a customer. The customer contacted me and asked if I could reproduce the purple ao dai in white for her daughters first communion. I was able to and this is the results. It was a challenge, but I am glad it turned out well.

Fleece blankets for School Sport Themes

My son's preschool teacher recently asked for a fleece blanket for her son that had his favorite sport embroidered on the corner. The school colors are royal blue and gold. I took a royal blue fleece blanket (size 70x60) and serged a decorative edge in royal blue and gold around the edges. I embroidered AHS Lacrosse with lacrosse sticks on the corner in gold. This size fits on a full sized bed and would make a great graduation gift. Stadium blanket sizes available (50x60).

I would be happy to create one in your school colors and logo also. Please just send me an email and we can discuss making one to fit your needs.
Please contact me for pricing information.

Apron for a Walker

My sister-in-law recently asked me to make an apron that would fit on a walker. So I placed 2 velcro tabs on the top of my waiters apron so that it could be attached to the top rails of a walker. The ties are still on the sides so that it can me tied around the legs of the walker as well. These aprons are great for someone who needs help with walking. They usually do not have an extra pair of hands to hold anything. This will allow her to carry a water bottle, book, or whatever she needs to have handy when moving from one location to another. Cost $15.

American Girl Doll Carrier

This was an idea from an 8 year old girl who wanted something to carry her American Girl Doll in. She also wanted her dolls name embroidered on the front. I made the neck strap adjustable so as she grows she can loosen the straps as necessary. The doll is secured in the sling with shoulder straps that button on the front. Cost $20 includes embroidery. Cost without embroidery $15.
